Nova incorporació al CPT

Alex Latorre es va incorporar al CPT com a investigador per a realitzar la tesi doctoral en el camp dels biomaterials. Alex Latorre té experiència prèvia en camps relacionats amb la salut, havent col·laborat anteriorment en departaments de I&D i control de qualitat en la industria de cosmètica i col·laborant en la optimització de dispositius cardiològics.

Actualment, donat el seu interès en el camp dels biomaterials, es dedica a la investigació de dispositius cardiològics, investigant en el desenvolupament de polímers biocompatibles.

Alex Latorre és llicenciat en Química a la Universitat de Barcelona amb un expedient notable, mostrant interès anteriorment en el CPT per la trajectòria d’aquest grup en el àmbit dels materials.

Parla amb fluidesa Espanyol, Català i Anglès.

 

2nd Cold Spray Summer School 2013

The objective of this course is to introduce the recipe of the emerging Cold Gas Spraying (CGS) technology for protecting and enhancing surfaces of industrial products.
The principal attribute of this novel technique lies in its capability of producing tailormade properties of coatings by optimizing the nature of the substrate, the material to be deposited and the process design parameters for diverse applications. An interactive session based on real-life case studies and demonstrators will illustrate the potential of Cold Gas Spray (CGS) process and focus on the problems and future challenges of the Thermal Spray technology in today’s competitive world.
